| OBITUARY: |
Gerald L. House age 69 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Sunday, March 7, 2010 in Lincoln. He was born on September 18, 1940 in Boone, Iowa to Gerald N. and Marion (Potts) House. He graduated from high school in 1958 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He served in the US Army from 1958 to 1962. On May 25, 1962 he married Elaine Hawk. Gerald was a Lincoln Firefighter for 26 years and also worked as an offset pressman for 20 years with Northeast Printers and Ameritas Life Insurance Company. He was a longtime member of the Missouri Valley Boxer Club and a great lover of the breed. |

Cremation, no visitation. |
| SERVICE: |
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home. |

Gerald is survived by his wife, Elaine of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Ann and Thomas Gidley of Eagle; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald N. and Nancy House of Firth; granddaughters, Michelle, Alicia, Haily; grandsons, John and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Dannon, Colton, Tennyson; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Alvin Loehr of Morland, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Ed Birmbaum of Otho, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents. |

Private family interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. |
