Ralph Alden Barber age 88 of Lincoln, Nebraska died on Monday, June 28, 2010 in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was born on March 7, 1922 in Dorchester, Nebraska to Simon and Flora (Danskin) Barber. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Ralph married Ardath Nosky on July 31, 1949 in Lincoln. He worked at the Veteran's Hospital from 1950 until retiring in 1972. |

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M at Wyuka Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at 1:30 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home. |
| FAMILY: |
Ralph is survived by his wife, Ardath of Lincoln; son, Robert and Paula Barber of Lincoln; son, Frank Barber of Lincoln; daughter, Virginia and Ron Riggins of Lincoln; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Alice Hruby of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Virgil and David; sister, June Kerwood; and a great-granddaughter. |

Burial with military honors will be in Wyuka Cemetery. |
