Linda Stock, age 80, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on May 8, 2025. Born in Grand Island, Nebraska, she was the beloved daughter of John and Izeyl Sheehan.

Linda graduated from nursing school in 1991 and dedicated over two decades of her life to caring for others as a registered nurse. She retired in 2014, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and dedication to her patients.

An active and vibrant woman, Linda completed multiple marathons and was known for her skill and competitiveness on the tennis court. She was a lifelong learner and social spirit-an avid bridge player, an enthusiastic member of several book clubs, and a devoted member of St. Mark’s Methodist Church.

More than anything, Linda cherished time with her family. She found immense joy in spending days at the beach, spending time with her grandchildren, reading, laughing, and sharing stories. Her warmth and sense of humor made her a beloved presence in every room.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Arthur Stock; children, Shannon Kuntz, Chris Stock, Andy Stock, and Kimberly Stock; sisters, Janice and Merry; and her adored grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Izeyl Sheehan; and her brother, Michael Sheehan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln, NE 68510.
