Faye E. Nimic, Lincoln, passed from this life on January 16, 2026. She was born October 21, 1933 in Smith County, Kansas to Mabel and Henry Nelson.

Faye retired from Nebraska Ethanol Board after 26 years of employment. She was a member of OES, Starcraft Chapter, Rebekah Vesper 375, IOOF #244, Lincoln, NE.

Preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and Henry Nelson; sister, JoAnn (Richard) Reiher; son, William Morgan; and husband, Robert Nimic. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karin and R.G. Lamkins; grandson, Scott Lamkins; granddaughter, Elizabeth (Jason) Longnecker; great-grandchildren, Grace and Cooper Dunn, and Hudson Longnecker.

Celebration of life & private service at a later date.  No visitation.  Cremation.
