    • I am so sorry for the loss of Dwain. He was Dept Chair at East when I student taught there and then we were both briefly Social Studies Dept Chairs (me at Southeast) before he retired. He always showed interest in the new wave of teachers and I greatly respected him.

  2. Almost forty years ago, Dwain Myers welcomed me into his classroom as a student teacher at the start of my career in education. He was a kind, committed, and generous teacher and person. I’m grateful for the contribution he made to my life just as I’m sure many others are too for the difference he made in their lives.

  3. We were lucky to have known Dwain as a neighbor and friend. He was in our neighborhood for several years and always had a smile and wave when passing by. Was happy to have talked with him before he passed. Best wishes and God bless.
