Kenneth “Kenny” William Wendt, 77, passed away on May 21, 2026, in Lincoln, NE. He was born on June 16, 1948, and lived most of his life in the Sterling, NE, area.

Ken loved meeting new people, RV traveling, and gambling. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Michael, and granddaughters, Kinzie and Ava Wendt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Wendt; his mother and stepfather, LoRaine and George Hornby; and his son, Noah Wendt.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
