Jennifer Brown (Evans) went home to be with Jesus, our Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after a years-long battle with a heart condition. She passed away surrounded by her family, who will miss her dearly.

Jeni was born on February 2nd, 1981, and raised in Lincoln, NE. In her free time, she truly enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure. Jeni worked for many years at The Children’s Place, and later went on to receive her certification to work one-on-one with special needs children, which was her true passion.

Surviving Jeni are four of her children: Aye’zayah, Martrell Jr., Lyric, and Londyn; beloved grandchildren; mother, Rebecca; sister, Amber; brother, Michael; and nieces and nephew, Ashli, Aaliyah, Amiya, and Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her son, Saiveon; brother, Mark; and grandmothers, Judy Evans and Beverley Rotter.

Rebecca and family. So sorry to hear of Jeni’s passing. She was always so full of life, I felt, Remember her being funny and full of energy as a kid. Can’t imagine death of a child.
