Jimmy D. Brown

Brown, Jimmy obit photoJimmy D. Brown, age 53 of Lincoln, passed away surrounded by his family on August 10, 2015. He was an amazing father! Jimmy took care of his family and his home first. He always enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and loved spending time with friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia (Reed) Brown.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Stephanie; sons, Erik, J.D., Jermaine, Nicholas, and Jediah Brown and Tre’Von Frye; daughters, Chandell Brown and Natalie Frye; siblings, Kathy Willcoxon, and Jerry, Julie, Jeff, Jody, John, Jerald, Judy, JoAnn, Jason, Jackie, and Jeremy Brown; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, at Wyuka Funeral Home Chapel, 3600 “O” St., Lincoln, NE, officiated by Buzzy Vance. Jimmy’s life story and condolences at www.wyuka.com

I’m thankful to have the assurance that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, and he will no longer suffer from physical pain.   11. Den and I had the honor of meeting Jimmy and Steph at CTCA. Jimmy was and always will be an inspiration to us to never give up. Always stay happy even when life throws you a big one. But most of all he taught us to never loose faith in GOD, even when you do not understand his plan for you here on earth. A great man has now met his maker… and I know we are to celebrate his passing into GODS heaven. But you’ll have to forgive us here foe awhile…. becuase I can’t seem to stop these tears from falling. Love you Jimmy…

  15. To my family I am sorry I am not able to be there for the memorial service I wish I could be there but my heart,love and spirit will be with you all during this time I hope to come home soon for a visit and spend a lot of time with you guys again I love you all and we will get through this.

  16. My family and I would like to send our prayers to your family. Jimmy and is sons were very kind and helpful neighbors to my mother Ramona Wade. She lived alone, but always felt safe knowing that Jimmy and his sons were across the street if she needed help.

  18. This is a hard one… I grew up with Jimmy and we spent many days just being good friends. He used to love to stop over and play Acey Deucy and listen to old school music with me. Jimmy, you are loved by many and will be truly missed here on earth. I find peace in knowing that you are resting with our Saviour!

  19. This is a hard one! I grew up with Jimmy and spent many days just enjoying our friendship. He used to knock on my door and we’d play backgammon while listening to old school music. I know you are resting peacefully now and that gives me comfort. You will be truly missed here on earth. My husband and I extend our condolences to the entire Brown family. Love you all!

  23. I am deeply Sorry for the families lost. I worked with him at Goodyear and I had lots of layoffs and ever time I came back he always shook my had said welcome back. He was hard worker and express his opinion weather you like it or not. He was a up front kind of a man. That’s how it was. Rest in piece my friend.
