Lorie, I am sorry for your loss. It was a lovely obituary but few people know how hard you worked and always made yourself available when your mother was sick. You were her caretaker, ran errands, appointments, and visited, did her personal laundry & cleaning. You were her encourager. May you rest knowing she is finally resting, and may the LORD be with you both and your families.

I worked at the Legacy Terrace, where Birdie lived. She always encouraged others and sang happy birthday to them on their birthday. She was always grateful to the staff and complimented one way or another. She LOVED her bingo! She will be missed.

My condolences on your loss. As a nurse at a medical clinic, I cared for Jim when he diligently came for visits. He was one of my favorites. I loved it when Birdie came along, as she was such a bright encourager. When she didn’t come Jim always offered many reports of, “Well Birdie says…” Delightful couple.
