I knew Hink so well as one of the Lincoln Community Concert Membership Co-chairs when I served on that board, 1972-83. She worked so hard with Suzi Wagner and Irma Warta to get all those members to join. Regrettably, I cannot attend her memorial tomorrow, but just wanted family to know how important Hink was to so many lives in Lincoln, and to me personally. I’ll always think of her very, very fondly.

Rob I am sorry to hear about your beautiful mom. You were so nice to take her to the Concert Series at Stransky Park to listen to the big band. She had a great son in you and I know she will be missed. Keep the faith and peace to you always.

Hink was a wonderful neighbor, and friend to all who met her. She had an absolutely sparkling personality. Even though we hadn’t seen her in a while, the memory of her is very strong, and will not fade with time-she had that effect on people. We are blessed to have known her. Our prayers for comfort go out to her family.

Here’s to Mrs Spirit!! We met Warren & HInk at the fall Ceres dinner on East Campus, next repeatedly at Faculty Dance Club and exchanged dances for years. Our time with the Sahs’ was always uplifting and – Hinks was a wonderful dancer. She brought Sunshine wherever she went. Lincoln and the world is a happier place because Hink shared herself with us.
