I was so sorry to see that Mrs. Chen and passed on. She was an amazing woman that made such a difference in a lot of lives. she enjoyed being a teacher and forming the young minds she worked with. She will be missed. Her family are in my prayers during this difficult time.

The Heavens have a new teacher for the children to learn from .Our children Kaylynn had Mrs Chen for her Kindergarten teacher, Our Son Kristion had Mrs Chen for 3 years Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade at the time they were elevating the children and teachers .
A very kind and caring teacher yet if the need arose she could be very stern at times.A Blessing to so many children over the 42+ years of being at Hartley .

My sympathy and prayers to Ann’s husband and children and their families and to Jim Mary and Mark and their families. She was an important influence on me growing up – As the slightly older and therefore much more sophisticated sister of a dear friend, I remember her as the only person who just knew how to wear makeup perfectly and the neighbor who was successful at teaching me how to ride a bike. She won an essay contest in the city of Lincoln and my Mom and I watched, fascinated as she was interviewed and read it aloud on channel ten. May she rest in peace.

I was in Miss Chen’s 1st grade class many years ago. She was such a beautiful woman and a totally awesome teacher. After high school she and I kept in touch from time to time.
