I moved away several years ago, but manage to visit Redeemer every now and then. Dorothy always remembered me and my daughter. She exemplified Christianity and has left a lasting impression on me. God rest your soul dear one until we meet again.

I imagine her family hears that a lot. Through her actions she was much more influential than she would have realized, and we’re all the better off for having known her.

I remember her smile and her positive attitude – whether as a mother, or a fellow member of Redeemer, or as the manager of the Jr. League Thrift Shop. Dottie and I had many good times in confirmation and junior high.
