I cannot believe this is true. She has been a mentor to me for the past two years and made such a huge impact on my life. Her nickname at Legacy was trouble, and she definitely lived up to it. She gave me the nickname Gigi because she wanted to have a special name for me. Whenever I needed advice Connie was there for me, I wish I could have been there more for her. I am so lucky to have met such a down to earth, loving, funny, and special person. I feel her with me today and I never want to loose this feeling. You were (are) the most important woman in my life. You have no idea how I will miss you along with countless others. I will always regret not coming to visit. Or just a simple phone call. Life seemingly gets too busy but that is really no excuse.I know I sent you a card now and then and maybe a newspaper clipping I thought you would like. But doesn’t make up for the sound of your voice, a hug or just plain catching up. Not a day will go by that I won’t miss you and remember your words of wisdom. I am still learning, and trying to live up to your example. I know EJ welcomed with you wide open arms as well as Philip. My prayers to Julie and Mike and their families. As much as I will miss you their ache is a thousand times greater. I will always miss and love you dear friend as will Jim. You and EJ, together at last. Until we meet again.
