Marcia McGuire

Marcia Renee McGuire, 69, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Lincoln, NE. She was born May 15, 1956, to Henry and Dolores Giese and raised in Sioux City, IA.

She enjoyed gardening, decorating her home, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Marcia is survived by her husband, John McGuire, daughter, Jamie Olsen; son, Gary Olsen; sisters, Romona (Robert Stetson) Rygh, Debbie Jones, Sherry (Tom) Roatch and Brenda (Craig) Svatos; brothers, Gary (Sue) Moore, Gene Marks, and Henry Giese; and grandchildren, Evelyn Walker and Liam Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tama Wittmaack; and brother, Terry Giese.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11 AM at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln. Interment to follow at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to Capital Humane Society HERE or Lung Cancer Research Foundation HERE.

  3. Jamie, I worked with your momma and also she came to my home frequently to help clean. She adored you and her grandbabies (at the time they were ittybits). So full of love for her family
