We reconnected several times during the past year and talked about old times and old friends.

Mike will be missed by many….

Even though I now live in Norfolk, I’d still stop and visit him many times. We were very good friends. My sincere condolences to his family. I got to mow his yard more than once. Many good visits.

I just knew Mike through church and the Wednesday night dinners. He was always fun My husband knew him through the Plumbers Union although they never worked together. We would usually always arrive at church on Wednesday nights, me to work, him to eat and I would kid him we weren’t serving yet. He would just come in and sit and visit with people while he was waiting. He has been missed on Wednesday nights.

I grew up as neighbors to Mike and his family! His sister was my best friend growing up. When Carol passed away, Mike and I considered driving to Minnesota to her service. We decided not to due to the weather. So I went to Mike’s house to be with him during the time of Carol’s service. We talked about Carol and our special memories. Then Mike brought out old family pictures. I have had many special times shared with Mike. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him! My sincerest sympathies to his beautiful family! Rest in eternal peace dear friend!
