Milton E. Walbridge, 91 years old, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 14, 2025 in Lincoln, NE. He was born November 15, 1933 in Wymore, NE to Francis and Bertha Walbridge.

Milton was married to Karen Korbel on July 19, 1958 in Wilber, NE. They were married for 67 years. Milton went on to work in a variety of jobs throughout his lifetime and retired from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2007. Milton served in the US Army 1955 through 1957.

Milton enjoyed life; his family, sports, golf, hunting, fishing, woodworking and travel. He was an avid Husker fan–especially enjoyed watching football and volleyball.

Milton is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Lisa (Michael) Hogan, Randy (Wendi) Walbridge; seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Larcy; his parents; one sister; and three brothers.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, at Wyuka’s Historic Rudge Chapel, 3600 “O” St., Lincoln, NE 68510, Friday, September 19, 2025, with his funeral service to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM, at Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln.
