I was so impressed with his genuine greeting when he opened the door to me. He had such a wonderful smile and twinkle in his eye. In the last year or two, he asked his meals be left outside the door, and I no longer had the opportunity to see him in person. I greatly missed that direct contact with him. I just wanted his family to know that he touched the lives of many and will be missed.
