Roger, you were the best brother a sister could’ve asked for. Since we were closest in age of the siblings, I was your “tag along”. I hiked with you and your buddies to Springbrook via the railroad track, we ice skated on Soenksen’s pond, and you and Roberta took me to a H.S. “sock hop” after a BB game. We enjoyed family camping trips to CO, the Tetons, and Yellowstone with our kids. We had great times together attending NASCAR races, also. But the best times were probably spent at the “Finn” in MN when 4 generations gathered annually for 40+ yrs. It was great that we were all able to gather one last time in Oct. in IA. You fought a losing battle these last 2yrs. and gave it your all, and then some. Roberta, Mike, and Nate were a great support team through it all and they are now supporting one another.
So for now, it’s not good-bye, but until we meet again. Later…….

Have known Roger since late 1970’s when we were employed together in Norfolk. Since I moved to Lincoln in 2008 we would sometimes meet for coffee and a visit. He was a nice guy.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I began my career at Molex in 1984. Roger was HR Director, he was very approachable, laid back, funny and always smiling. I was not aware of his love for cars, how fitting and awesome. Gone much to soon. May all your memories bring you joy and peace during this difficult time of sorrow.
