I truly enjoyed time at his home when I was a Jennings…

Uncle Ron always shared a big hug and gave a huge smile. His joy was contagious. He treasured family gatherings and was the life of the party. He will always be remembered by all his family.

Very kind, thoughtful, and always had a smile and a big “hello” as he walked through the neighborhood. We were sad to see move on but knew you were happy hanging out with your new-found friends. God bless you on your journey, Ron

I grew up thinking more of him as a grandpa than a neighbor: I took care of Andi the dog when he and Flo would be out of town, I would run next door to visit often as a child because I loved hearing stories, he was always so kind and interested in everything we were all up to.

Now I have children of my own-two of whom I am grateful he met. I remember bringing him my oldest to see and telling him “look what I made!” He just chuckled and said “That’s just so great!”

I will never forget him. He will always hold a special place in my heart and thoughts and I will always celebrate the life he led!

God bless all of you!

Ron was a great guy, always with a smile and a joke when he visited Skorohod Service at Cotner & Vine. Sometimes I think he would just stop in, even if he didn’t need gas. Always good to see him there and in the neighborhood enjoying his keno & beverage. His big smile will be missed by a lot of people!

Our deepest sympathy to your family and friends. Ron always came to La Paloma restaurant with a big smile, a big handshake, and the kindest words. He was very pleasant to everyone, and everyone loved Ron. Our entire staff loved Ron, they loved serving Ron and his family. Ron, you will be missed. I managed The Cookie Co. and when it was inside Wards, Ron would come by every day to visit, tell me a story, tease me about something and get a cup of coffee. When Wards closed I still saw Ron on a pretty regular basis and enjoyed hearing stories about his kids and Austin. He always amazed me with his friendly positive outlook ! I think about him often. He was a good friend.
