Susan was an inspiring designer and I was lucky to work beside her and ;earn from her early on in my career. She had an amazing spirit and an infectious laugh. Truly a loss.

I became friends with Susan after my cousin passed away. She was his best friend. She took care of his house and pets when he was in the hospital. After he passed, she was instrumental in making sure his beloved dog was delivered to me in Colorado. She had a kind, caring heart. We had such wonderful talks. Susan, I miss you already!

Rest in Peace Susan. We were friends in elementary school, and I spent time playing at her house. We did Campfire Girls together. Sweet memories of our youth. God Bless.

Susan and I worked together on many window treatment projects over the years—from Armstrong Furniture days up through this year. Her excellant design sense was evident in every facet of her life. For all the stye and flare she displayed on the outside, she was rock solid in her values with a great deal of common sense. As an accomplished designer, Susan had supreme confidence in her talents and abilities and projected a unique aura which those close to her will remember when we think of her. She always gave credit to her supporting team members on a job well, Susan was super fun to spend time with and made people feel good about themselves. Truly a sincere and fine person. Fare well, friend.

The aura in the design community is a little less bright today. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. Susan’s enthusiasm for fashion and design will be missed by all that she touched.

Susan made my life and my home a beautiful place. As I walk through my house, I will see memories of her design everywhere. As I travel through my mind, I will have the same wonderful memories of a great, classy lady. I’ll miss you, Susan!
