Freddie Berry Sr. was born on April 16, 1947, in Clarkedale, to James Berry and Lucille Berry. He was one of fourteen children born to this union.
Freddie graduated from Dunbar High School in 1966. Following graduation, he attended Job Corps before returning home to Earle, Arkansas.
Freddie dedicated many years of faithful service to Burlington Railroad, where he worked until his retirement in 2009. At the time of his passing, he was employed with Aging Partners, where he continued serving and supporting others with care and dedication.
From a previous union, Freddie was blessed with six children: Juanita, Winnie, Freddie Berry Jr. (Kamilah), Lucille, Arlanders Berry Sr. (Jimika), and Melissia. He was also the proud father of Patricia.
Freddie leaves to cherish his memory his children; grandchildren Mischonda, Sassiel, Arthur, Michael, Daniel, Danielle, Arlanders Jr., Jameshia, Jacob, Vivian, Daisha, Damion, Davion, Valerie, Crisondra, Tubois, Bre’Ona, Lallery, and Hillary; two brothers, Arthur and John; sister-in-law Dorothy Jean; and his beloved wife of 23 years, Adeline. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will forever love and treasure his memory.
Service will be held at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, on May 30, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.
