Aaron Jordan Brown, 68, passed away on September 8, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska. He was born in Birmingham, AL to Arthur and Olean Brown.

Aaron is survived by his children: Aaron Williams, Jesse Brown, Christopher Hopper, Darrick Brown, Sheneeka Brown, Latasha Hopper, Veonta Hopper, Chiveon Hopper, Anthony Hopper and wife Mollie Hopper, YaKima Hopper and Je’Kerra Hopper. His siblings: Archie Brown, Michael Brown, Phyllis Peterson and husband Yuell Peterson, Melvin Brown, Lonnie Brown and wife Kim Brown, Ronnie Brown and wife Melissa Brown, Sherry Brown, and sister-in-law Cheryl Brown (wife of late Arthur Brown). He was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, numerous family members, and friends.

He was a fun, loving, and outgoing soul whose laughter and smile brought light wherever he went. He loved to cook for others, turning holiday gatherings into moments of joy and connection. His home was a place where anyone in need could find comfort, and he welcomed others with a caring, humble spirit. Though he never sought the spotlight, his warmth lit up every room he walked into.

He had a deep relationship with God and His Word. He found joy in simple things — cooking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. People most often said he was humble, that he made them feel deeply loved, and that he was simply fun to be around. What will be remembered most are his unforgettable meals, the road trips filled with laughter and love, his devotion to God, and the way he cherished his family with his whole heart.

He was a devoted minister at Faith Apostolic Holiness Church, where he loved to preach the Word and praise the Lord. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and church family. He loved to cook and host holidays, and he also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Olean Brown, Sandra Mattox, and Arthur Brown (Bubba)

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow at Wyuka Cemetery, 3600 O street, Lincoln, NE, 68510. In lieu of flowers memorials may be donated to the family in the name of Anthony Hopper.
