Alfred J. Lespreance

LespreanceAlfred J. Lespreance, age 91 of Lincoln, formerly of Hastings passed away June 4, 2014.  He was born September 20, 1922 in Galveston, Texas to Fred and Ida (Hobbs) Lespreance.  Alfred worked at Lincoln Public Schools for 28 years as a building superintendent.  He was also employed by Corvettes Limited for 17 years with his specialty being “executive supervisor” of ALL employees.

Survivors include his wife Carol of Lincoln.  Son and daughter-in-law: Richard and Vicki Lespreance of Lincoln, daughter: Jacquélyn Huxoll of Arapahoe, Nebraska.  Grandchildren: Torre Lespreance and Larissa Lespreance both of Lincoln, Chadric and Ashley Herbert of Kearney and Aleesha Herbert of Omaha.  Sisters and brother-in-law: Uteva and Bob Daniels, Bobbi Hagedorn all of Texas.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers: Frank and Lawrence, sister: LaDene Manor.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 9, 2014 at Wyuka Funeral Home.  No viewing. Closed casket.  Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Dave Vanderharr, Bob Odom, Jeff Janssen, Manuel Ortiz-Garcia, Chadric Herbert and Bruce Roberts.

Memorials to the family for a later designation.

    We are sorry to hear of your loss, you have our deepest condolences. For as long as I can remember your Dad always had his spot down at the shop where he “did his thing”. It was always great to see him down there. We all know how much you guy’s really enjoyed your time at the shop together, he will be truly missed.
