Angela Lynn Meza

Angela Lynn Meza age 39, of Lincoln passed away November 24, 2018.  She was born September 25, 1979 in Lincoln to Frederick and DeAnn (Thiesfeld) Valverde.  Angela was a marriage/family therapist.  She married Jesse Meza on May 17, 2003.

She is survived by her husband Jesse Meza, her daughter and son all of Lincoln.  Parents Frederick and DeAnn Valverde of Lincoln, mother-in-law Rosenda Meza of Lincoln, brother David Valverde of Victoria, Texas.  Grandparents Dean and Eilene Thiesfeld of Lincoln.  Angela is preceded in death by her grandparents Manuel C. and Margaret Valverde, grandmother Georgia Valverde and father-in-law Jesus Meza.

Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Faith Lutheran Church, 8701 Adams, Lincoln.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.

Interment Fairview Cemetery

Family requests memorials in lieu of flowers to the family for support of the Faith Foundation and the children’s college fund.

She was a true angel who touched many lives – she will live in all of you and her strengths carried on in each of you.   2. Jesse, my family’s thoughts and prayers are with you and your children in this difficult time. Angela was a blessing to everyone who knew her, but she will always be remembered for her tireless work with the Air National Guard. I cannot recall a single conversation where it didn’t seem like she was trying to help someone. She had a true gift for helping people and showing compassion.

  6. I was to saddened to see today that Angela has passed. As a member of Faith church so many years, I have many memories of your entire family. My prayer is you will have comfort. I am so very sorry for your loss. God bless all of you.

  9. Our hearts were saddened as we read that Angela had passed away on November 24th. We have such fond memories of Angela as she worked with us at First Step Recovery and Wellness Center. I remember having discussions with her about your marriage and then with the upcoming excitement of your first child. Angela was such a kind, soft-spoken, and caring person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.

    We wish we could be with you and the kids during this weekend that is such significant time for overcoming mourning and getting consolation from friends and family.   13. There are no words to be said that are going to make this easier so I won’t try. Although Angela is gone from us physically she will always with us in spirit and this is not Goodbye just see you later. Until then Angela we will miss you greatly.

    I hope you remember me from your combat classes at Lifepointe. I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for the passing of your beautiful wife. I didn’t know her, but my heart goes out to you and your family. Angela’s grandfather worked with my father at Sears, I remember him as a wonderful man. I know you have wonderful memories to keep her close to you.
