Arlene (Wolfe) (Marshall) Cahill was born on August 21, 1928, in Ord, Nebraska and passed away on May 1, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 97.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Wyuka Funeral Home. 

Arlene was preceded in death by her first husband, Clair Marshall; second husband, Hugh Cahill; twin sister, Maxine Kean; brother, Duane Wolfe; and sisters, Eleanor Hitchman and Viona Miles.

She is survived by daughter, Pam (Greg) Wright; sons, Jerry (Sue) Marshall and Jay (Julie) Marshall; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Arlene was a loving, caring mother and grandmother who lived and modeled unconditional love for her family and many friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor that was always on display, particularly any time she and her twin sister Maxine got together.

Besides being a mother and homemaker, Arlene worked at Nebraska Wesleyan University followed by a long career at St. Elizabeth Hospital.
