Bette J. Carper, age 88, of Lincoln, passed away July 11, 2014. She was born August 23, 1925 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Glenn and Treasa (Endelman) Stevens.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Marcia Carper of Lincoln. Granddaughters and spouse, Megan and Brad Griffin of Lincoln, Cassandra Carper of Lincoln. Brother and Sister-in-law, Glen Jr. and Elaine Stevens of Lincoln. Bette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Carper and her son Steven Carper.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 14th at Wyuka Funeral Home. Private family visitation only. Burial will be at Wyuka Cemetery.

David, I am so sorry to hear about Bette. Your family has always been such a part of
ours for so many years. I have so many wonderful memories of both Jack and Bette,
Thomas Lake and all the fun and parties we had. I loved them both. And Steve too.
He never liked me following him around the fishing boat and messing up his stuff!
Your Mom was class and grace and I learned a lot from her when I was young.
