Brenda K. Kramer

Brenda K. Kramer, age 65, of Lincoln passed away July 23, 2023.  She was born July 31, 1957, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Norbert and Ruth M. (Fuller) Forsman.  Brenda worked as a paralegal for over 30 years, including in the Lancaster County Attorney’s Office as an advocate for domestic violence survivors.  She was passionate in this advocacy work.  Brenda, a beloved mother and grandmother, was very active as a volleyball coach and Girl Scout leader when her daughters were growing up.  She is a graduate of St. Cecilia High School in Hastings.

She is survived by her daughter Julie Kramer of Costa Rica, daughter and son-in-law Nikki and Jonathan Knerr of Lincoln, sisters and brother-in-law Theresa Forsman of Lincoln, Rebecca and Tim Janning of Manchester, Missouri, and Judy and Doug Spath of Sioux City, Iowa, as well as brother Scott Mason of Iowa, and grandchildren Camdyn Reddick, Olyvia Reddick and Kayleigh Herrera.  Nieces Jackie Heckman and Tina Gunn of Cortland, Nebraska, niece Roxy Pierce of Guide Rock, Nebraska, and nephew Kelly Braasch of Seward, Nebraska.  She is also survived by stepsister Sandy Williams of Grand Island, Nebraska, and stepbrothers Jerry Borrell of Lincoln and Stanley and Peggy Borrell of Broomfield, Colorado.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Grethel Forsman, sister Carol Aden, and stepsisters Patty Williams and Shirley Wilson.

Celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Wyuka Funeral Home.  The celebration of Brenda’s life will be livestreamed and can be viewed by clicking HERE.

Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.

  3. I worked with Brenda and most of the clothes in my closet are from her many garage sales. My sympathy to your family during this time of sorrow
