Catherine (Carver) Hayes, 57, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at her home in Tucson, Arizona. Daughter of Milton and Juanita Carver of Lincoln. Sister of Ken and Terri. Mother of Austin Hayes.
Services: Saturday, February 13, with visitation at 1 pm and funeral at 3 pm. Reception following. Wyuka Funeral Home

I was best friends with Kathy, in Tucson, in the late 90s, we shot pool, we got drunk, and we had a fantastic 2 years together. I was so sorry to leave her, but the state sent me to prison. Kathy came and visited me lots of times. Kathy is about the sweetest girl I have ever known. She told me all about her accident, where the lumber fell on her. I decided to check out my best friend tonight, and am so sorry to hear she passed. May God bless her soul, and may her wonderful soul, be reborn soon. The world needs people like Kathy ! Chip Cullom
50 years of memories, I miss you my dear friend.
Cathy touched many lives. BBQ’s, Run for Fun, dances, and sharing her life with us in general. She will be missed, but remembered by many. Her family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I just was informed about Cathy passing away. I am sadden to hear this news. Cathy and I had many many childhood memories from Huntington through Northeast High School. We spent many hours playing with Barbies, sleepovers, school programs, etc. We drifted apart after High School but we would run into each other at different events and catch up on our lives. Farewell my dear friend you made my childhood full of life. You were blessed and a blessing!
Just learned that Kathy had passed. She was a loving person. Andrew and I (JoAnn Russell) will miss her dearly.
