Charlesa Ann (Charlie) Treat, Lincoln, passed away May 2, 2018 surrounded by her children. She was born in Davison, Oklahoma 12/22/1932 to Charles B. and Mary W. (Jeffries) Harper. She attended Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She married the love of her life James (Jim) C. Treat on June 19, 1950 in Oklahoma City. Jim and Charlesa were in the radio broadcasting business in Kansas and Nebraska. They moved to Omaha in 1964 and Lincoln in 1975. Charlesa loved crosswords, games, gardening, reading, hand crafts, scrapbooking, bowling and crocheting. She was the proud mother of Vicki (Charles Huber) Treat, Lincoln, Linda K. Hill, Gretna and James Treat Jr., Omaha. She was an avid participant and instructor of Water Aerobics at the Larson Lifestyle Center. She enjoyed spending time and playing games with her family and friends.
Charlesa is survived by her children, sister Charlette Miller of Houston, Texas, brother Buck (Lucinda) Harper of Corinth, Texas. Grandchildren Sarah (Dennis) Secora , Tarah Pykiet, James Treat III all of Gretna, Steven Treat, Boston, Chas Huber, Lincoln. Great-grandchildren Aubriana and Madilyn Pykiet, Morgan and Logan Secora, Annalycia Huber and Patricia Palafox -Huber. Preceded in death by husband James C. Treat, parents and brothers George Harper, William Crandell, Laurence Crandell and granddaughter Caitlin Huber.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14th from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
