Elinor M. Goodwin, age 92 of Lincoln, passed away August 23, 2014. She was born August 20, 1922 in Dixon, Nebraska to Fredrick and Emma (Lilje) Wolter. Elinor was married to Orville Goodwin, Jr. on June 1, 1947, they were married for 61 years. She retired from KMart where she worked as a sales clerk.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Lynn and Paula Goodwin of Denton, Texas; son: Rick Goodwin of Lincoln. Daughter and son-in-law: Rhonda Goodwin and Ron Lawson of Lincoln. 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great grandchildren; 2 Great, great grandchildren. Sister: Luella Bose of Laurel, Nebraska. Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville, Jr. Son, Keith and daughter, Sharon. Her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be held at Wyuka Funeral Home on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, 84th and Adams, Lincoln.
Visitation will be at Wyuka Funeral Home, 9:00 A.M. until service time on August 28th.
