Evangeline “Vangie” Chapman McManaman, age 95 of Lincoln, and born in Shelby, Nebr. – passed away Nov. 17, 2016 surrounded by family. Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; born May 5, 1921 to Forest and Minnie May (Gilbank) Chapman. Vangie married George “Bud” McManaman in 1944 in Spalding, Nebr. and raised five daughters: GK Wattier, Mary Pat Boesch, Cecilia Ann “Mick” Wempe, Veronica McManamon, and Sharon Runyan. She is also survived by son Eugene McManaman.
Vangie is preceded in death by her husband and sons, John “Jack” and Rollin McManaman.
Catholic Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 am on Nov. 22, 2016 at Wyuka Funeral Home, 3600 “O” St., Lincoln. Visitation with viewing from 5 – 8 pm on Mon., Nov. 21st also at the funeral home. Memorials to the family. Condolences at www.wyuka.com
