Howard A. Weisser

Howard A. Weisser age 79 of Lincoln passed away April 23, 2018. He was born March 18, 1939 in Delmont, South Dakota to Alfred and Adeline (Lehr) Weisser. Howard was a mechanical engineer and spent the majority of his career at Becton Dickinson in Columbus, NE until his retirement in 1994. Howard’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing and attending his grandchildrens sporting events. Howard was also an avid track runner in the Lincoln Masters Track Program and he loved spending time with his hunting dogs.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte (Cap) Weisser; his daughter Renee (Larry) Kolbush of Lincoln; son Craig (Nissa) Weisser of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Jared and Derek Kolbush and Elsa and Gunnar Weisser; brothers LeRoy (Shirley) Weisser of Delmont SD and Roland (Orgenia) Weisser of West Bend, WI. He is proceeded in death by his parents and three siblings.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home followed by a private family interment.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5:30 P.M until 7:00 P.M.
