Julie Caron Williams Mayers was born January 21, 1955 in Sacramento California, to Mardri and John Williams who preceded her in death. Julie went home to see Abba, Father, on May 6, 2023.

Julie married Crispin S. Mayers Jr. on July 8, 1979, in Claremont California. They have two sons:  Crispin III (Jenna) and daughters Zoe and Zella; and son David J. (Fiancée Tiffani).  She is survived also by her sister Felicia M. Williams and brother John C. Williams II.  She is also survived by countless relatives.

Julie, was a graduate of Claremont High School followed by a couple of years at the University which she left to go home and care for her ailing mom.  Julie’s career was centered around serving and helping people with organizations like HHS in California, Moral Welfare and Recreation(MWR) in Iwakuni Japan where she organized numerous events and planned several trips that created memorable experiences for military members and their families. She worked at HHS here in Nebraska and finally with NEMA.

Julie enjoyed word puzzles and games. She also enjoyed a variety of crafts. She loved to travel and did, to many places in Europe while her dad was in the army.  She also got many opportunities to travel west to Japan, Korea, and Hawaii while we were in the Marine Corps.

From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”. 7. I had the pleasure of working with Julie at NEMA. Every time I spoke to her, no matter how stressful the situation, she always made time to talk to me. I don’t think I ever had a conversation with her that didn’t have some kind of laughter involved.

    Julie, you will be missed.

  10. I am shocked and saddened to hear of Julie’s passing. I worked with Julie as a local Emergency Manager. She was my toughest adversary and my biggest fan. And I was hers as well. I will miss the texts I once got on every holiday, even after she left NEMA. I am at a loss. Goodbye, Julie.
