Kenneth C. “Ken” Byrne

Kenneth C. “Ken” Byrne of Lincoln passed away November 24, 2022.  He was born June 19, 1940 in Lincoln to Charles F. and Pauline F. (Carmichael) Byrne.  Ken worked as a computer engineer for the Lincoln Telephone Company.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Byrne, daughter Deborah Byrne and son Mark Byrne all of Lincoln.  Granddaughter Jessica Byrne, grandson and spouse Benjamin and Carly Byrne.  Great grandchildren Ellie and Anna.  Brother Roger Byrne of Lincoln, step-sister and spouse Cynthia and Gary Love of Lincoln.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dale Byrne.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery.

    Now that I know about dementia, I understand why Kenny’s smile, response of any type, he seemed far away.

    He is out of pain, and will RIP. My thoughts to you and your family.

  3. I just saw Ken‘s obituary in the newspaper. I’m shocked and saddened. I remember him fondly from my childhood. Growing up next door, I always admired the Byrne family chemistry. So sorry for your loss Lynda, Mark and Deb.
