Kenneth L. Johnson, 73, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away July 14, 2015.  He was born on December 16, 1941 in Clay County, Kansas to Ernest “Stretchy” Johnson and Nola (Holladay) Johnson.  He was a graduate of Morganville High School, Emporia State University and Kansas State University.  He was a math teacher and mentor for gifted students.  He loved his family, golf, the Wildcats, Chiefs and Royals.

He is preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Jean (Worm) Johnson and sister, Ardis Johnson.  He is survived by his brother, Neill (Nancy) Johnson; children, Kelly Johnson and Karla Johnson; stepchildren, Tim Mittan, Terri (Dayle) Mautz, Andy (Lisa) Mittan; grandchildren, Taylor and Drew Stohs, Luke Johnson, Sydnie and Mason Bubien, Zachery and Sierra Largent, Colton and Kierra Johnson, Lauren Mautz, Hannah and Kaitlyn Mittan, Lindsay, Brandon and Zachery Grams; Nieces and Nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Sheridan Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE on August 3rd at 2:30 P.M.
