Larry Louis Riha

Larry Louis Riha passed away in peace on Wednesday, March 16 in the arms of his loving wife with his family at his side.  He was born March 3, 1942.  Larry married Mary Jean (Jeanne) Cihal on May 19, 1962.

He is survived by his daughters Denise Zoz (Michael) of Peoria, Illinois; Cheryl Grell (Rick) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and Brenda Moylan (Daniel) of Shawnee, Kansas.  Larry had several grandchildren: Nicole (Nick), Tyler, Ryan (Jonelle), Trevor (Moira), Sarah (Christian), Austin, Jacob, Whitney, and Kyle.  Larry also had four great-grandchildren: Mikaela, Emery, Stella, and Waylon.

Larry is survived by his wife; children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren;  brothers-in law (Melvin Cihal, Gary Cihal); and sister-in-law (Shirley Cihal).

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Louis and Lillian Riha; Father and Mother-in-law: Frank and Mary Cihal; Brother-in-law and Sisters-in-law: Leon and Dolores Orender and Kay Cihal. Larry cherished spending time with his family and friends.

Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on March 19, 2022. Flowers may be sent directly to the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for further designation.

  1. Dear Jeanne, we are so saddened by your loss of Larry. Even tho Ernie can not say much, he understood when I told him of Larry’s passing. May you find comfort in the Love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in this time of sorrow.
