Martha Kaufman age 93 of Lincoln, passed away May 28, 2018. She was born July 22, 1924 in Lincoln to Peter and Katherine Maul. Martha was a member of the Eastern Star and Zion Congregational Church. She partnered with her husband, G. Scotty Kaufman in running their State Farm Insurance agency.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Lynne Smith of San Diego, California and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband G. Scotty Kaufman, her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 1st from Noon until 8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home.
Memorials to Eastern Star or the Alzheimer’s Association may be sent to Wyuka Funeral Home in care of Lynne.

I never had the chance to meet you, but I felt like I knew you because your mom would always talk about you! She was so proud of you! Marty was a one of kind woman and a pleasure to know! She was a bright light where ever she went! I also had the pleasure to meet your dad. What a love story your mom and dad had! They were Wonderful people! You will be in my thoughts and prayer and hope the next few days be filled with fond memories of your mom!

Dean and I haven’t met you but we knew your parents. They were such caring people and a delight to know. Scotty was our State Farm Agent from 1956 until his retirement. We got to know your mother when she worked in the office with your dad. They were devoted to each other and were so very proud of you, Lynne. We know you were raised in a home filled with love. May fond memories comfort you at this time of loss.
