Norman Duane Sallenbach

Norman Duane Sallenbach age 82 of Wahoo, Nebraska died on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in Wahoo.  He was born on October 20, 1928 in Milford, Nebraska to Herbert and Clara (George) Sallenbach.  He married Hollie Jean Craig on August 3, 1951 in Lincoln.  Norman farmed until 1968 and then worked in public relations with Swanson Vending for 18 years. 

Norman is survived by his wife Hollie of Mission, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Traci Sallenbach of Wahoo; son, Scott Sallenbach of Omaha; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Pat Clausen of Omaha; daughter, Julie Bernady of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Dawson of Arizona.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don.

Cremation/no visitation.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Wyuka Funeral Home with Pastor Tamara Holtz officiating.

Burial will be in Wyuka Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.

  2. Sorry to read in the paper of Norm’s death. Our deepest sympathy. We live in Milford. Norm and Holly belonged to our pitch group when they lived on the farm nearby. What a lot of fun we had!! Please accept our deepest sympathy. Ardell and Berniece Brown

    We were so sad to hear of Norm’s passing. Please know our hearts and prayers are with you. He was such a fun person. We hope the fond memories will be a comfort in the coming days.
