Peggy Jolyn Wasser, 62, of Lincoln passed away on February 6, 2023. Born March 27, 1960, in San Diego, CA. She graduated high school Class of ’78 from Kimball County Highschool. She then went on to get her degree as a Registered Nurse from Bryan School of Nursing. Later she received her second Bachelor of Science degree from Doane University. Most recently she worked for United Health Care. She took great joy in baking for her family, had a great love of animals especially dogs and bird watching, and she loved hosting Husker football games.
Peggy is preceded in death by her father, Ronald Wasser Sr.; mother, Betty Jeanne (Saddoris) Wasser; brothers, Richard Wasser and Ronald Wasser Jr.; and sister, Debra (Wasser) Davis. She is survived by brothers, David (Anne) Wasser, Michael (Diane) Wasser; nephews, Jason, Robert, Adam, Anthony, and Chris; nieces, Megan, Tonia; grand nephews and grand nieces.
A celebration of Peggy’s live will be 10;00 a.m. Saturday, February. 11, 2023, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln. Memorials are requested to Hearts United for Animals. https://hua.org/
My sincere condolences to all. Peg was a joy to be around, I’m so glad we could call ourselves “neighbors”. She will be greatly missed.
