Robert C. “Bob” Frank

Robert C. “Bob” Frank, age 80 of Lincoln entered his heavenly home on February 15, 2013 surrounded by his wife and daughters.  He was born January 17, 1933 in Burke, South Dakota to Carl and Katherine (Ulmer) Frank.  Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  After serving his country, Bob returned to Nebraska and on August 3, 1962 he married Barbara Toman.  He worked at Roberts Dairy as a branch manager in Lincoln.  Bob was a member of the V.F.W. #131 in Lincoln.  He enjoyed spending time with his family at his cabin on the blue river.  His love of marches came from playing the tuba in his high school band.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara.  Daughters and Sons-in-law:  Jane and Philip Dani, Julie and Jose David Valencia  all of Lincoln.  Sister: Alma Frank of Denver.  Sister-in-law: Eunice Frank of Rogers, Arkansas.  Granddaughers: Bethany Dani of Omaha and Brandy Dani of Lincoln.  Bob’s special friend Gus, who is a rescue dog.  Preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Albert and Erwin.  Sisters, Clara and Vera and his beloved cairn terrier named Rudy.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel at Wyuka Funeral Home.  Interment with military honors will be at Wyuka Cemetery.
