John C. Madsen age 71 of Lincoln passed away September 14, 2019. He was born December 15, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa to Earl J. and Viola (Tott) Madsen. John was one of Nebraska’s greatest bowlers back in the 1970’s and was associated with Madsen’s Bowling and Billiards.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, September 19, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln.
So sad to hear about Johnny. I’m an old family friend whom Johnny taut how to bowl. I spent many a day at Snooker/Madsen’s. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom and Marty.

So sorry to hear of John’s passing. Went to school with Tom and Jim, but knew John and Marty as well. Grew up in the same neighborhood and went to same schools. Have fond memories of all the Nadsens! May he Rest In Peace!
