Lynn Louise Elder

Saddened to announce the loss of dear Lynn Louise Elder. Born to Eugene & Betty the youngest of three. Lynn grew up in Hebron Nebraska.

Lynn was Married to Harry Meagher they had two loving children:  Matt & Shannon.  Lynn started as a social worker, then in-home daycare & worked the majority of her career as manager of Elder Jewelry.

Lynn is survived by her children Matt & Shannon, granddaughter Holland, her sister Shari Elder, her brother Kim Elder, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Lynn lived her life loving others and is missed by us all.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln. Memorials may be directed to Capital Humane Society or the Lincoln City Mission.

  3. Lynn was fun and caring to work with oh so many years ago- at”welfare”. She really remember how thrilled she was when her kids were born! Rest in peace or party away! Laurie Yoakum

  4. I’m so sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. She was always such a vibrant and cheerful person when I would go into Elder Jewelry. God took an awesome jewel into his fold. RIP

  5. Lynn was always knowledgeable and helpful whenever I visited her store. She laughed easily and always enjoyed sharing a good story. Please accept my sincerest condolences – I am certain Lynn will be greatly missed by those who loved her most.

  6. Lynn was one of the nicest and sweetest people I’ve known! She went through some tough times but was aways friendly and took the time to chat! I loved going to see her at the jewelry store! I am so sad to hear of her passing! She will definitely be missed! My deepest sympathies to the family!
