ROBERT LEE WILLIAMS

 

SKM_C284e15021614330_0001Robert Lee Williams, 61, of Lincoln, passed away at home February 14, 2015. Robert grew up in Omaha and attended South Omaha High School; he married his wife Robin in 1972 and they moved to Lincoln in 1981. To this union were born three children raised in Lincoln.

Robert worked for many years in Construction specializing in drywall and framing – “yes, he could fix anything.”. He loved fishing any time of the year, even ice fishing; he enjoyed hunting and was an avid outdoorsman always with his yellow lab Angel at his side. Robert liked to play horse shoes and shoot pool, while listening to good music. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren: Jordan, Vane, Ian, Aidan, Tatyana, Mikkel, and Tahneceya.

Survivors include his wife Robin; daughters, Tammy Williams, Kari (Lee) Umana; son, Bobby Williams, Jr; seven grandchildren; and his faithful companion “Angel”.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at Wyuka Funeral Home Chapel, 3600 “O” Street, Lincoln, with Pastor Mike McMurtry Officiating. Private Inurnment at a later date. Memorials to the family for later designation in Robert’s honor.

  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. He was my second dad growing up with Tammy as my best friend. We just lived a block from eachother. He was always so cool towards Tammy and I when he would catch us sneaking out of the window of the top floor of their house. LOL. One time he even told us where to step on the roof so we wouldn’t fall. He was definitely one of a kind. My condolences go to the whole family.
