Sharon K. Powell
April 28, 1941 – March 10, 2024
Sharon Powell passed away peacefully Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the age of 82. Sharon was born on April 28, 1941, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Emanuel and Beulah (Mericle) Weber.
At the age of 16, Sharon became a caregiver to her mother, who had a stroke, and continued to care for many more family members and friends throughout her life. The greatest joy of her life was her 3 grandsons.
She is survived by her daughter, Shari (Jay) Kaser; son, Garry (Diana Criser) Powell; grandsons, Jordan Powell, Jase Kaser, and Jared Kaser; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Jack Powell; sister, Vicky Partington; and her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Wyuka Funeral Home, Lincoln. An Inurnment will follow at Wyuka Cemetery.

Sharon was such a dear friend to our family and best friend of our mother Dorothy for over 40 years. So sorry to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences….
