Stanley Maly, Jr.

Stanley Maly, Jr., age 90 of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Stan was a World War II hero, and President of Capitol Supply Company. He was a huge Husker fan, and a loyal husband, father and friend.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Peggy.  He will be forever missed by his four children, Ann and husband Wally Imig, Stanley III and wife Linda, George and wife Cindy, and Marsha and husband Michael Brito. He adored his seven grandchildren and always had a crisp dollar bill for each of his three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, 6001 A Street, with Father Craig Gavin officiating. A reception will follow the service.

  2. Stanley was such a kind an gentle soul. I loved having coffee with him, even though I wasn’t in Lincoln often. He always made me feel welcome. And I really appreciated the way he was such a great support to my Mom, Lou, when she really needed it. Stanley, you were much loved and will be greatly missed. RIP

  5. My Condolences to your family Stan III. Remember me, I was a Music Teacher in Spencer, NE when you were the Basketball Coach and Math Teacher. You and your Dad certainly look alike. Again my Sincere Condolences.

  7. Just looking over my address list.. thought of your Mom and Dad who became our good “winter friends” here in Fernandina. We had many good times with them..golfing, eating out… What a cute couple !

    It’s been quite a long time since your Dad’s death.. I hope you still visit this site..
