Marilyn Y. Nelson age 77 of Lincoln passed away March 19, 2023. She was born July 31, 1945 in Lincoln to John K. and Marie (Niederhaus) Loos. Marilyn was a Lincoln High School graduate.
Survivors include her husband Larry Nelson of Lincoln, daughter Tina Pulec and son Allen Nelson. 5 grandsons, 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Gerry Loos.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

I just learned of Marilyn’s death and am so saddened to learn of her passing. Marilyn and I were close Hayward friends having grown up in the North Bottoms and being a part of the Germans from Russia community and culture. We had many fun times “rockin'” to the new recordings of Elvis playing on her new record player. Something I didn’t have! We practiced the new dance moves giggling a lot!!
Marilyn was just a sweetie! I have a very vivid memory of her big smile and kind ways. RIP, Marilyn!
I just heard of Marilyn passing at our 60th class reunion. We were friends at Whittier Junior High and Lincoln High School. We had classes together at both schools and played some sports together. Lost contact of each other after high school. Marilyn had a beautiful smile and a beautiful giggle. Rest in peace my dear.
